The 6th annual Adirondacon Tabletop Gaming Convention comes to the Charles R. Wood Theater at the end of September, with new activities and lots to play. Two anglers ticketed for catching undersized crabs GREEN ISLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On August 26, two anglers were ticketed for possessing undersized blue claw crabs. ECO Bevis noticed the anglers during a late-night patrol using a net to catch the crabs in a restricted area of the Hudson River. ECO Bevis also discovered that the registration on the vehicle the anglers used was suspended. The two were issued tickets for trespassing, fishing without a license, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and possessing undersized blue claw crabs.The tickets are returnable to the Town of Green Island Court. The undersized crabs were returned to the Hudson River.

The driver, Kawon Jones, 31, of Hephzibah, Georgia, told police he was attempting to travel to Vermont and was following his GPS. Police conducted a full DOT inspection and issued 9 tickets for violations. Jones was cited for failure to obey a traffic device and the Glenville Town Code violation for disobeying an overweight warning. No injuries were reported.

Driver and passenger run from fatal Jefferson County crash JEFFERSON COUNTY -- Missouri State Highway Patrol was called onto the scene for a fatal hit-and-run at northbound Missouri Route B., south of Simpson Hill Drive, on September 13 around 6:35 p.m. Girl’s path to school: speeding cars, sex offenders, dangerous crosswalk A 2009 Ford Fusion was traveling northbound on Route B, and Ann A. Radeackar, 69, was driving her 2012 Mini Cooper Clubman southbound on Route B. Radeackar attempted to turn into a private driveway and cut into the path of the Ford Fusion. The vehicles struck each other.The driver and passenger of the Ford Fusion ran from the scene. EMS declared Radeackar dead at the scene.
