Jacko's Corner in Salem closing its doors SALEM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Jacko's Corner, located at 190 North Main Street in Salem, is closing its doors. "This latest iteration of Jacko's Corner has been such a wonderful experience but as anyone who's been in the restaurant business knows, it takes an immense amount of time and energy to keep things going," said Parker. Albany man arrested on drug charges ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man was arrested on October 18 following a traffic stop, according to police. Damien Carter, 30, is facing multiple charges. On Wednesday at 10 a.m., Albany detectives stopped Carter in the area of Clinton Avenue and North Lake Avenue in connection to an ongoing investigation. Police stated that Carter was found to be in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine during the traffic stop. Carter was then take into custody. He now faces the following charges:ChargesThird-degree criminal possession of a controlled substanceFourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance Second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia Search warrant yields firearms and drugs in Albany Carter was arraigned at the Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail.

Two suspects charged in a fatal St. Louis shooting ST. LOUIS – Two suspects have been charged with murder and robbery in connection with a shooting that occurred on October 8 around 3:24 a.m. in the 3500 block of S. Compton. Toron Mitchell, 19, and Azavian Royal, 18, were charged with the death of Iarvera Hale, 17, and wounding another juvenile. Mitchell and Royal are currently being held without bond. Hale was found with fatal gunshot wounds, while the second victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg but survived. Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene, where Hale was pronounced dead. The surviving victim was sent to the hospital and is in stable condition.

LOUIS -- The recent series of colder nights has begun to reveal the vibrant colors of autumn leaves. Many eagerly await the changing of colors, and for those looking forward to leaf peeping, the situation is steadily improving. The recent cool nights have played a pivotal role in bringing out the fall colors.  Brittish Williams – From ‘Basketball Wives’ to guilty plea Those with burning bushes at home will be among the first to notice the change. Maple trees, too, have started their gradual shift in color. The changing colors are starting farther west and north, though pockets of fall color can also be found just south of St. Louis. For those willing to take a scenic route, traveling through the hills along Hwy. 67 or alongside the bluffs along I-55 might provide glimpses of the transitioning colors. The changing colors will continue closer to Halloween, even extending into early November.
