Person hospitalized, dozens displaced after fire tears through 2 buildings in Dorchester Boston firefighters battled a six-alarm blaze that ripped through two multi-family homes in Dorchester on Saturday and left one person hospitalized and dozens displaced, officials said.Crews responding to a reported structure fire on Ellington Street found that it had spread to two homes and quickly worked to contain it. Man seriously injured in North York stabbing Police are searching for one suspect after a man was seriously injured in a North York stabbing.Investigators were called to the area of Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue West just before 6 p.m. for reports someone had been stabbed, possibly at nearby G. Ross Lord Park.When they arrived they found a man in his 30s suffering from stab wounds. He was taken via emergency run to a nearby hospital.Paramedics say the man is in serious but stable condition.No suspect description has been released except for police are searching for a man with blonde hair in connection with this incident.

Advocates call for more respite options after yet another encampment fire Advocates are calling on the City to open more respite options for those experiencing homelessness after an encampment fire in Kensington Market early Saturday morning.Fire crews were called to Bellevue Square Park in the area of Dundas and Bathurst streets just before 8:30 a.m. where they found a number of tents on fire.
