Paolano says he's done well in his life managing his autism, such as working, and living on his own, though he knows it is not possible for everyone. Possible drowning in Stamford STAMFORD, N.Y (NEWS10)- Multiple agencies are on scene responding to a possible drowning that occurred near TheZone Boys Camp Saturday afternoon. The New York State Police said at approximately 3 p.m, crews were called to the area for a possible drowning. TheZone Jewish sleepaway camps are a division of Camp Oorah. The incident occurred on a public lake, and a spokesperson from Oorah says the boat the individuals were on was not owned or provided by TheZone. It is confirmed that two people were rescued after a canoe capsized, and one person is unaccounted for. The two people rescued were taken to Albany Medical Center and are in stable condition, according to police. The unaccounted-for person was last seen trying to swim to shore but has not been seen since. Search and Rescue personnel remain on scene along with members from the Schoharie County Sheriff's Office, Jefferson and Stamford fire, and rangers from the Department of Environmental Conservation.
