Police issue sketch of man suspected of assaulting child in beach bathroom CHICAGO -- Police are searching for a man after a four-year-old child was allegedly assaulted in a restroom at Rainbow Beach in the city's South Shore neighborhood.According to police, on Tuesday in the 3000 block of East 7th Street at around 5:30 p.m., a four-year-old child was using the restroom at a beach when an unidentified man entered and sexually assaulted the child before fleeing. Bond set for Naperville man after fatal hit-and-run in West Chicago The offender is identified as being 5'8 to 5'10 inches tall, 180 to 210 pounds and between the ages of 35 and 40. He was seen having short black hair, unshaved facial hair, wearing a tan t-shirt, green shorts and black sandals. Police is urging community members who were at Rainbow Beach Tuesday between 3 to 6 p.m. to check images for this person if they took photos. UT researchers discover most distant active supermassive black hole AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A supermassive black hole, newly discovered by researchers with the University of Texas, is now the most distant ever discovered. Named CEERS 1019, it was detected by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).The supermassive black hole existed about 570 million years after the big bang. The black hole was one of three identified by the Cosmic Evolution Early Releases Science (CEERS) survey. The research was published in The Astrophysics Journal Letters. The team is led by University of Texas astronomy professor Steven Finkelstein. CEERS uses the JWST ability to capture near-infrared and mid-infrared images to identify celestial objects in the furthest parts of our universe. Infrared light travels further than visible light, allowing it to travel for billions of years.
